The 2015-2016 train show season is Greenberg's 40th year of running train shows! Greenberg's Great Train & Toy Show was created in 1976 by Bruce Greenberg, with the first show held on December 18, 1976 at the Ellicott City Armory. The show returned twice to the armory in 1977 before moving to Towson University. In 1980 the show went on the road; the first shows outside of the Baltimore area were in Monroeville, PA at the Merchandise Mart and in Philadelphia at the Civic Center.
Since 1976, Greenberg Shows has run over 850 train shows in cities across the country. The shows have changed over the years but the central goal - to create a quality model and toy train marketplace and exhibition - has always remained constant. We look forward to our next 40 years of train shows.
